Description This sealed digital temperature probe lets you precisely measure temperatures in wet environments with a simple 1-Wire interface. The DS18B20 provides 9 to 12-bit (configurable) temperature readings over a 1-Wire interface, so that only one wire (and ground) needs to be connected from a central microprocessor. The one wire Digital Temperature Sensor – DS18B20 from Maxim (formerly Dallas) is a great chip for measuring temperature in your projects. Luckily, there is a Dallas Temperature library for the arduino which makes using this sensor very easy. This is an electronic thermometer which has high accuracy over a wide range (accurate to ±0.5°C over the range of -10°C to 85°C) (Workable from -55°C to 125°C). You can locate these thermometer chips up to 100M away from your Arduino. Features: Temperature range: -55°C to 125°C Designed for : -10°C to 85°C ( - 0.5°C) Unique 1-Wire Interface Requires Only One Port Pin for Communication Programmable Resolution from 9 Bits to 12 Bits TO-92 Package 3 – 5.5V DC Supply Voltage Dimensions: Probe is 6mm in diameter and roughly 50mm long. Overall length (including wire) is 1 meter. Packing List: 1 x DS18B20 Waterproof Temperature Sensor 1m
